Our Projects – new – Pearltri Foundation

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) projects an incremental requirement of 347 million personnel (skilled as well as unskilled) in 21 high-growth sectors by 2022. Around 12 million people are expected to join the workforce every year for the next decade but there is only a net enrollment of 5.5 million per year in vocational courses which clearly shows the challenges India faces in imparting employable skills to its growing workforce over the next few decades. The Government of India (GOI) is working with various stakeholders to address this skill gap and Pearltri Foundation’s efforts will go towards contributing to this effort of GOI.

Retail Sales Associate Training (Batch 2: Jun 2022 – Aug 2022)

Retail Sales Associate training for differently abled candidates is organized by Pearltri Foundation in Tumakuru in partnership with Association of People with Disability. The program will benefit around 30 participants from the region. The candidates will be trained in sales and customer service functions.

The program will benefit around 60 participants from Chennai. The candidates will be trained to understand the functions of solar power system and will be able to install solar panels as per customer requirements. Placement assistance will be provided at the end of the program.

There is always a high demand for skilled workers in this trade and below are the highlights of the program.

Youth Employability Program (Batch 9 & 10: April 2022 – June 2022)

Pearltri Foundation, CSR wing of Aspire Systems in partnership with Asha Deep Foundation and has organized a short-term course to improve the employability of youth. The course will help the candidates learn Sales Skills & Customer Service and help them improve their communication skills. The training is conducted in Taramani, Chennai and placement assistance will be provided to all candidates who successfully complete this training program.

Automotive Service Technician training program is organized by Pearltri Foundation in Chennai in partnership with Indian Institute of Industry Interaction Education & Research The program will benefit around 30 participants from Chennai. Chennai being a hub for automotive companies, candidates will be able to find job opportunities as soon as they complete the program. Placement assistance will be provided at the end of the program.

General Duty Assistant training is organized by Pearltri Foundation, CSR wing of Aspire Systems (India) Pvt Ltd in partnership with RMD Pain & Palliative Care Trust. The trainings are conducted in the premises of RMD located in Chennai/Sriperumbudur. Healthcare sector has been growing rapidly over the years and there is an incremental demand for General Duty Assistants who are involved in the basic care of the patients under the supervision of physicians.

Sewing Machine Operator training is organized in Kanchipuram by Pearltri Foundation, CSR wing of Aspire Systems (India) Pvt Ltd in partnership with RM Educational Trust and ACE skill development pvt ltd. Kanchipuram district has several garment & textile factories and the demand for sewing machine operators is very high in the region and below are the highlights of the program.

The program will benefit around 50 participants and this is the second set of 50 candidates we intend to train from the same region following the success of our previous program. The candidates are mobilized from Kanchipuram district and 2 batches comprising of 25 candidates each has been initiated. The candidates will be provided with hands on exposure and placement assistance will be provided at the end of the program.

SHINE is a skill development and employability program launched by Aspire Systems and Pearltri Foundation in association with Universal Higher Education Trust. This program helps disadvantaged youth from rural regions and smaller towns to enhance their skills and launch successful careers in the Information Technology sector.

Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor or Master Degree in Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Technology

Training Duration: 4 Months

Aspire Systems and Pearltri Foundation has partnered with Association for Non-Traditional Employment For Women (ANEW) and has organized a short term course to improve the IT Skills of Women (Final year Graduate students). The course will help the candidates improve Basic IT Skills and improve their employment prospects. The candidates are mobilized from the Chennai city and the training is being organized in the office of ANEW located in Anna Nagar. Apart from IT Skills, the candidates are also exposed to life skills, value skills, self-defense etc. during this period. The first batch of training was completed with 17 candidates and this batch has enrolment of 33 candidates.

Pearltri Foundation has launched a training course for women to be trained as General Duty Assistant in line with the curriculum provided by Healthcare Sector Skill Council. This training is currently organized in Annai Multi specialty hospital located in Chennai in partnership with Aspire Systems (India) Pvt Ltd, RM Educational Trust and ACE skill development Pvt ltd. Candidates are mobilized from different parts of Chennai specifically those from economically backward sections of the society. Candidates will be assessed by a third party at the end of the course and will be provided with placement assistance. This training will benefit 60 women.

Aspire systems & Pearltri Foundation has partnered with RMD Palliative Care Trust and launched a 6 months short term skill development program – General Duty Assistant. The program launched on September 18th has enrolled 40 students from economically backward sections of the society from various districts of Tamilnadu. The program is currently being held in RMD’s training center located in Sriperumpudur. All candidates will be assessed by a third party at the end of the program and placement assistance will be provided to all candidates.

Youth are mobilized in and around Gummidipoondi region and employment opportunities are available for skilled candidates at the SIPCOT Industrial Park located in Gummidipoondi.

Kanchipuram district has several garment & textile factories and the demand for sewing machine operators was very high in the region and below are the highlights of the program.

Aspire Systems and Pearltri Foundation has partnered with Association for Non-Traditional Employment For Women (ANEW) and has organized a short term course to improve the IT Skills of Women (recent graduates). The course will help the candidates improve Basic IT Skills and improve their employment prospects. The candidates are mobilized from the Chennai city and the training is being organized in the office of ANEW located in Anna Nagar. Apart from IT Skills, the candidates are also exposed to life skills, value skills, self-defense etc during this period. The training will benefit around 50 women and the first batch has enrolled 17 candidates.

SHINE is a 12 month full time skill enhancement & employment program launched in association with Aspire Systems (India) Pvt Ltd and Universal Higher Education Trust (Vellore) to help disadvantaged youth especially those from smaller cities, towns and rural regions to launch successful careers in the Information Technology sector and below are the highlights of the program
