National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) projects an incremental requirement of 347 million personnel (skilled as well as unskilled) in 21 high-growth sectors by 2022. Around 12 million people are expected to join the workforce every year for the next decade but there is only a net enrollment of 5.5 million per year in vocational courses which clearly shows the challenges India faces in imparting employable skills to its growing workforce over the next few decades. The Government of India (GOI) is working with various stakeholders to address this skill gap and Pearltri Foundation’s efforts will go towards contributing to this effort of GOI.
Retail Sales Associate Training (Batch 2: Jun 2022 – Aug 2022)

The course will help the candidates improve Basic IT Skills and improve their employment prospects. The candidates are mobilized from the Chennai city and the training is being organized in the office of ANEW located in Anna Nagar. Apart from IT Skills, the candidates are also exposed to life skills, value skills, self-defense etc. during this period. Youth Employability Program (Batch 1: October 2018 – January 2019)
Aspire Systems and Pearltri Foundation has partnered with Asha Deep Foundation and has organized a short term course to improve the employability of youth The course will help the candidates learn sales skills, customer service, communication etc. during this period. The candidates are mobilized from taramani region and most of them are school/college dropouts looking for skill enhancement opportunities. The training is being organized in Taramani and placement assistance will be provided to all candidates who successfully complete this training program.

Aspire systems & Pearltri Foundation has partnered with RMD Palliative Care Trust and launched a 6 months short term skill development program – General Duty Assistant. The program launched on September 18th has enrolled 40 students from economically backward sections of the society from various districts of Tamilnadu. The program is currently being held in RMD’s training center located in Sriperumpudur. All candidates will be assessed by a third party at the end of the program and placement assistance will be provided to all candidates.

Aspire systems and Pearltri foundation has partnered with Sambhav Foundation (A LabourNet Initiative) to organize Fitter – Fabrication training (Short term course) for youth in Gummidipoondi to help them acquire necessary skills to find suitable employment and augment their family income. Youth are mobilized in and around Gummidipoondi region and employment opportunities are available for skilled candidates at the SIPCOT Industrial Park located in Gummidipoondi.

Aspire Systems and Pearltri Foundation has partnered with Association for Non-Traditional Employment For Women (ANEW) and has organized a short term course to improve the IT Skills of Women (recent graduates). The course will help the candidates improve Basic IT Skills and improve their employment prospects. The candidates are mobilized from the Chennai city and the training is being organized in the office of ANEW located in Anna Nagar. Apart from IT Skills, the candidates are also exposed to life skills, value skills, self-defense etc during this period. The training will benefit around 50 women and the first batch has enrolled 17 candidates.
